A Thesis Proposal Title: A new approach to treating tumors with hyperthermia. Research area: Applied Physics and Complex Systems Approximate duration: 3 months - 9 months Place where it will be held: University of Bologna, INFN. Short topic description: The body temperature can be elevated to damage the cancerous cell with minimum harm to the normal cells. Succesful therapy methods, in combination with radiation therapy and/or chemotherapy is provided to the cancer patient with proven patient beneficial. The thesis will focus on a research for a new method to improve the effectiveness of hyperthermic therapy.
